The Ceramics Department: Girl Dinner

Make your own dishes for a complete, balanced Girl Dinner!

Students will construct their trays through different hand building options such as, slab, coil-building, or pinch. The work will be dried over two weeks, bisque-fired and dipped in a clear or colored glaze of your choosing. It will be available for pick up 2-4 weeks after class.

Bring your favorite girl-dinner snacks to enjoy during the workshop!

Can’t make this time? Other upcoming Girl Dinner workshops:

  • Sunday, November 22, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

  • Friday, December 4, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

  • Sunday, December 6, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

About the Ceramics Department

The Ceramics Department is a fully equipped clay studio located in the former UArts ceramics studio within the heart of Center City. It’s run by two former alumni, Molly and Liz. They welcome artists, folks who are into trying new things, and anyone wanting to work with their hands. The Ceramics Department offers studio memberships, multi-week classes, and short workshops ranging in topics like glaze chemistry, large scale handbuilding for a small kiln, to date night throwing classes.
