What began as a simple idea—a free breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning each month—has grown into a global community of creative thinkers, makers, and leaders. Today, CreativeMornings brings people together in cities around the world and online through Virtual FieldTrips to spark inspiration, foster meaningful connections, and celebrate creativity.
This month, CreativeMornings Philadelphia welcomes Brian Phillips, Founding Principal and Creative Director of Interface Studio Architects (ISA), an award-winning Philadelphia-based architecture, planning, and urban design practice.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Brian leads ISA's design vision across housing, civic, and institutional projects that demonstrate how thoughtful design can strengthen communities and create more resilient cities. His portfolio includes transformative projects such as Cherry Street Pier, Ambler Yards, BalletX, and the nationally recognized 100K Houses initiative. He is also a co-founder of Meantime, a nonprofit dedicated to activating underused urban spaces through creative, community-centered programming.
A Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a Pew Fellow in the Arts, Brian teaches graduate urban housing design at the University of Pennsylvania and frequently speaks on urbanism, housing, and the future of cities.
Join us for an inspiring morning of conversation, creativity, and community.
