UArts Community Day

UArts has always been more than a building — it’s a community — and we’d love to welcome you back to 320 S. Broad. If you were ever part of the UArts community — as a student, faculty member, staffer, collaborator, neighbor, or friend — join us on Sunday June 7th, to reconnect and see what’s taking shape inside the building now as the Village of Industry + Art (VIA).

VIA is growing into a new home for artists, makers, designers, performers, small businesses, and community-driven projects, while holding onto the experimentation, creative chaos, and collaborative spirit that made this place meaningful to so many people in the first place. Meet the growing community of tenants, pop into open studios, ask questions, and spend some time back in the building together.

This is an open-door, welcome-back kind of gathering — low-pressure, informal, and rooted in community. DJ Lady Problems will be spinning at Frankie’s Summer Club, alongside casual crafting, drinks, and members of the Scout + VIA teams around to chat and answer questions about what’s next for the building.

More than anything, it’s a chance to bridge the old and the new: reconnect with the community that made UArts special and celebrate the people who continue to create, gather, experiment, and build here.
